HE Shamma bint Suhail bin Faris Al Mazrui
Her Excellency Shamma bint Suhail bin Faris Al Mazrui was appointed as the UAE Minister of State for Youth Affairs in the Cabinet reshuffle announced in February 2016 at the age of 22. HE Shamma is also the Chair of the Emirates Youth Council.
Her work focuses on ensuring the voice of Youth is strategically positioned to lead Youth into the future in all facets of UAE government and life, ensuring all ministries and decision-makers are incorporating youth needs into the policies they create. She has proactively made strides to connect Youth and leadership in the UAE with a proactive National Youth Strategy, a strategy that is led by the voice of youth and data.
H.E. Shamma is a member of the Education and Human Resources Council of the UAE Cabinet – a council focused on hammering out quick solutions for the sector based on the situation of the labor market. H.E. Shamma is a board member of Emirates Foundation, an independent philanthropic organization that facilitates public-private partnerships to create programs that support improving youth welfare across the UAE.
She is also a member of the Fourth Industrial Revolution Committee that aims to apply the UAE’s fourth industrial revolution strategy and supervise its implementation across key sectors in the economy through regulations and policies that support the strategy. H.E. Shamma is a Vice Chair of the Community and Legacy Committee of the UAE Special Olympics World Games (2019). She is also chair of the board of the Special Olympics UAE, an independent and robust organization that is focused on building a legacy for Special Olympics athletes who are citizens and residents of the UAE. She is a member of the Higher National Council of the Year of Zayed (2018), as well as a member of the Higher National Council of the Year of Giving (2017).
H.E. is also a sector coordinator of the youth file at the Annual Government Meetings, a national annual meeting focused on engaging and coordinating across sectors both private and public in aims of developing policies that fulfil the goals outlined in Vision 2021 and 2071.
She is a member of the advisory committee of the UAE Pavilion at Expo 2020, as well as a board member of the international Institute of Tolerance.
Previously, H.E. Shamma worked in Private Equity at one of Abu Dhabi’s sovereign wealth funds. She also previously worked as a public policy analyst at the UAE Mission to the United Nations, as a Ministry Policy Analyst with the Prime Minister’s Office, as a Research Analyst at the UAE Embassy in DC, and as an Education Policy Researcher at Tamkeen (UAE Strategic Affairs Authority).
H.E. Shamma obtained her Masters of Public Policy with Distinction from the University of Oxford in 2015. She was the first UAE Rhodes Scholar and ranked within the top of her class. She completed her Bachelors of Arts in Economics with a concentration in Finance at New York Abu Dhabi in 2014, ranking within the top 5% of NYUAD’s class of 2014. She has completed several coursework at the research center for leadership on multi-sector partnerships at NYU Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, at NYU Stern School of Business and at Yale University.
Moammer Jaber works as project manager at the Prime Minister’s office , Moammer has vast experience in digital production, he worked in variety projects in private and governmental projects in digital design . And creative production ,previously he have worked in civil engineering and he worked in several positions.
Moammer Jaber has Bachelor degree in Civil and Environmental engineering from University of Sharjah
Moammer has 13 years of experience in Graphic and Motion Design, Moammer passionate about digital arts, innovation and creative ideas. Currently working with Youth Hub team.

Saeed Al Nazari is Executive Director at the UAE Prime Minister’s Office, Team Member at the Arab Youth Center and the first Global Innovation Ambassador for the Global Innovation Management Institute and the President of Global Happiness Organization in UAE. Al Nazari Managed 50+ National Strategic Projects. He worked on Projects Management in The Executive Office of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. He also works as consultant to some enterprises bringing with him extensive experience in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Human Resources, Corporate Happiness, Strategic Media and Projects Management.
Al Nazari was chosen as a Federal Member in the first Emirates Youth Council, Global Shaper in the World Economic Forum, Board Director in the International Social Media Club’s Board of Directors in the UAE, Board Vice President in the UAE’s International Institute of Business Analysis’s Board of Directors and Board Member of the Alumni Board Committee in Dubai Men’s College. He is also a member of the World Student Organizing Community (WSOC).
Al Nazari studied Masters in Leadership & Entrepreneurship, Bachelor in Business Administration from Higher Colleges of Technology and Foreign Policy from New York University. Al Nazari is also a graduate from the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Scholers Program in New York University, a unique international leadership program. He is also a graduate from the Promising Leaders Program in the Republic of Mauritius.
Al Nazari was awarded Annual Mubadala Youth Award, Emirates Award for GCC Youth award from Emirates Foundation, Innovation in Society Award from Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince’s Office, Annual Director Leadership Award & Annual Business Program Award from Higher Colleges of Technology, Social Media Award from Du and many other Entrepreneurship awards from different entities. He is also a high rank winner in many competitions such as Young Entrepreneurs Competition and Emirates Drones for Good competition.
Alia joined the Youth Office in 2017 as an Associate Project Manager.
She has a 5 year experience from the Emirati, World’s most Elite Hospitality Brand, Jumeirah Group. Alia started in the events department as an Assistant Events Manager, planning more than 80 social and corporate events in less than two years in Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel. Alia accelerated her way and got promoted to be the only Community Engagement Manager in one of Jumeirah’s Hotels – Madinat Jumeirah Resort, and she set a CSR strategy, implemented new and exciting initiatives such as special needs internships, colleagues volunteering programs, health awareness initiatives as well as cultural events. She was given the Outstanding Performance Award by Madinat Jumeirah Management in 2014.
Alia holds a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Communications from Dubai Women's College, Higher Colleges of Technology, and has graduated with Distinction. During her journey in Dubai Women’s College, Alia got the College’s Outstanding Student Award, and the Director’s Leadership Award. She was also awarded for being the best MC for two years in a row. She was an active members of the Dubai Women’s College Student Parliament and was nominated to be the Media Representative from 2009 to 2011. Alia has completed successfully the Multiculturalism and leadership course in Al Maktoum Institute, Dundee Scotland in 2011.
